Marketing is probably one of the most painstaking parts of being an indie author. No one likes it, and next to editing it all around sucks. You need to have the right links, follow all the right people. If you don't use the correct hashtags your basically screwed and god forbid you post in the wrong groups! Marketing today for an indie author is honestly pure hell, but luckily there are people and sites that do make things easier. I know that Outside the Lines PR is a group that for not a large chunk of change can do a whole lot of good.
