So, the problem that I have found with the younger generations (meaning Millennial and younger) is that, our phones are super glued to our palms. Although, more and more, I am beginning to see the older generations picking them up and starting to use them now. It's the easiest and fastest way to connect with each other. Whether we are tweeting and updating our insta-stories or constantly scrolling through our Facebook feeds. Everyone anxiously awaiting the new snapchat filter and taking a million selfies that you just ABSOLUTELY have to post. Social media runs a good 60% of the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives and if you think that it doesn't, I assure you, you are sorely mistaken.
It's honestly become an actual, clinically proven addiction and it's destroying marriages, muddling the brains of our youth and causing a large chunk of the unemployment percentage as well. I wouldn't be agreeing with that last one if I hadn't personally witnessed it myself. It's a sad state of affairs really, that we let technology govern our lives. However, until we learn how to be personable with each other again, nothing is going to change.
